Storyline felt solid and I enjoyed how the storyline split up in the 'one group goes off to an incredibly different world, while another group does something more down-to-earth', which seems to be a staple of Feist storyline. Patrus felt that he came a bit out of left field tho'. T'was rather neat to see Locklear and heer James 10 years after the whole Sethanon ordeal, and the new characters were a welcome addition. Although I usually kinda dislike when the party characters are pre-created, it worked this time around. Overall, I have to say that I was one of the more addictive gaming experiences I had in a long time. (tried it before when it was released for free, but me poor brain couldn't completely comprehend the game, the combat, this things called RPG, nor realise that one had to right-click rations before continuing) I was really in the mood of the whole Midkemian world, and tried this game for real once. Recently played Betrayal At Krondor after going through the first three Riftwar books, as well as the 'Honoured Enemy' book.
